Rehearse the arithmetic without uploading a real vault
Use an invented subscription quote: 36 dollars for the first 24 months, followed by 60 dollars for each later year, before any tax. The first-period equivalent is 1.50 dollars per month; the renewal equivalent is 5 dollars per month. Over four years the stated charges total 156 dollars, averaging 3.25 dollars per month.
These numbers illustrate a calculation, not a current provider offer. Put the initial invoice, duration, renewal amount and renewal interval in separate fields. An introductory monthly equivalent is not the amount you can assume for every later month.
Separate plan cost from migration acceptance
Use the vault checkout worksheet to capture your actual quote. For an import rehearsal, use only invented records and check names, URLs and notes against the original; do not upload real passwords to a comparison worksheet. If you need a family plan, compare the documented seat limits in the 1Password guide before choosing. This exercise is not a security audit.
Write the numbers off the plans page
NordPass plans, recaptured 16 September 2026 from https://nordpass.com/plans/, listed a Free plan at $0.00/month for a lifetime with one user account, autosave and autofill, and secure storage. The same page stated Free does not include access on multiple devices, Password Health, Data Breach Scanner, NordPass Authenticator, or file attachments.
On the 2-year tab the same day, Premium displayed $1.39/month with a struck $80.73 and $37.53 for the first 27 months, one user account, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Family displayed $2.49/month with a struck $161.73 and $67.23 for the first 27 months, six user accounts, and the same 30-day money-back line. The page said displayed prices do not include VAT and that discount terms apply. Confirm the live checkout amount.

The renewal cost matters more than our commission
