1Password's personal password-manager page, recaptured 21 September 2026 from https://1password.com/product/password-manager, listed Individual at $2.99 USD per month paid annually and $3.99 USD per month on monthly billing, with a 14-day free trial. Families listed $4.49 USD per month paid annually and $5.99 USD per month on monthly billing, with everything in Individual plus up to 5 family members, unlimited shared vaults, and simple admin controls.
The same page stated promotional pricing is available to new 1Password customers subscribing directly through 1Password.com only, for the first year with annual billing, and that promotions are not available through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or other third-party app stores. Confirm the live checkout path.

A subscription cannot organize the household for you
A family plan is worthwhile only if the people involved can use it. Decide who maintains shared items, who helps with recovery and what each person keeps private. Enough seats do not establish a working household arrangement.
Start with a fake shared login and a discussion of the documented recovery process. If nobody will maintain the setup, keep the working arrangement while resolving that gap. Our links to 1Password are ordinary vendor links.
Skip or pause if the current vault already works
A 14-day trial is not a security audit. This publication has not imported a vault, compared autofill on a real site, or measured recovery options.
Do not buy a second family plan if the people who need access already share a working vault.
